This is a sad tearjerker about a woman (diane keaton) who finds out she has leukemia and needs a match for a bone-marrow transplant. she then reconnects to her estranged sister (meryl streep) and gets to know her 2 nephews.
diane has to face the fact she can no longer be their father's caretaker and tries to convince meryl not to put him in a home.
