Review of Marty (1955) by Ben Y — 07 Jul 2007
Proof that you don't need complexity to make a good movie. The story is rather simple and it is executed quite well, with a likeable and honest protagonist. It is easy to relate to his frustrations with being alone due to Borgnine's performance and Paddy Chayefsky's script (btw, why the hell doesn't Facebook list the screenwriters on the side?).
