Review of Marty (1955) by Lise D — 07 Oct 2011
A nice film about the relationship between two people who have given up on getting married, although I expected better from a Best Picture winner. I liked the storyline between Marty and Clara, and the way their relationship grew.
The other parts I didn't like as much, especially the aunt that no one wanted to live with. The movie just feels very small, and abruptly ends. I would have liked to have seen how Marty and Clara's relationship progressed.
