Review of Marty (1955) by Steve W — 14 Apr 2015
I like this movie because it is simple. Its a love story, but the complications from the villains backs it up really well. And the badguys of the film are not mustache twirling black clad enemies, but society, his friends, and family members who have their own selfish agendas.
The acting is good, the script is tight and well done, and it all comes together in this great classic feel good romantic comedy.
