Review of Martin (1978) by Ross G — 21 Mar 2009
Martin is a monster, but he is so beautiful and sympathetic and strong. Whether or not he is a vampire, to me, is irrelevant. I just wish all films about serial killers could depict then in such a honest and humane light as this one does, even though he might just be a vampire.
The fact is, he is just an average man who just wants what everyone else wants. To see him be normal and then see him at once turn into a cannibalistic beat is terrifying and captivating.
