Although the concept for this movie is great, and the story itself is very touching, it got extremely sappy way too fast. Yes, I get it, the kid is cute. Along the way, you begin to forget exactly what this movie is about as it stumbles around awkward scenes of an adoptive father learning to love his deranged adopted son.
