Review of Martian Child (2007) by Tyler M — 31 Mar 2012
It's like K-Pax... The child version... Touching story, Cusack is great as always, Bobby Coleman is bound for great things, and Amanda Peet was good but really had nothing to do with the film at all.
The focus on David and Dennis was obviously the way to go, but the side story between David and Harlee seemed hit or miss... Almost like the writers and director couldn't decide if they really wanted to commit to that part of the story, it hurt the film.
.. Still great with 4 stars but a little more thought and dedication to the Harlee/David storyline could have made it a five.
