Review of Martian (2015) by Bobby L — 08 Apr 2016

Finally got around to watching this. They did a pretty good job, the casting was excellent, and they were true to the book for most of the first 3/4 of the movie. They definitely hacked and slashed a ton in the last quarter of the movie, which was disappointing.

There is some really intense stuff that is just completely cut out. It was already a long movie though, so I get it. That one complaint aside, it was fantastically done. I would suggest that everyone read the book first though - some of the stuff might have been hard to follow had I not already known what was going on.
