Certainly an interesting film, but one I think that ultimately fails to deal with its own subject matter. Like the central character, the film itself is near mute; unable to properly articulate what could have otherwise been a fascinating story.

Instead, we're left with fairly insipid impressions of a tale that should have been fully charged with insight, emotion and psychological narrative.
