Review of Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011) by Jorge D — 05 Jul 2012
What begins as a thriller, which is gradually rebuilding the last steps of his protagonist, eventually show up as a drama about the identity, or more precisely, the lack of identity of a girl.
The problem is that absolute lack of direction of its central character, seriously affects the (short) story of this production, for lack of reasons for the audience share of sorrows, doubts and frustrations, a rebel without a cause, which annoys, but never moves indeed.
