On an aesthetic level, "Martha Marcy May Marlene" is a gorgeous, contemplatively shot film that makes a case for the continued use of film in the digital age. For its 100 minute runtime though, it is narrartively quite slim, and unfolds a bit too predictably.
Still a worthwhile watch, but it could have been way better considering the buzz surrounding it.
