Review of Marshland (2014) by Gordon H — 26 Jan 2016
A brilliant evocation of the time and place. This is not a conventional whodunnit, more a study of how people come to terms with their pasts, and their hopes and fears for the future. The acting is terrific from all the cast, especially the two leads, and the mother of the two girls.
And of course, being a European film, a proper non-Hollywood ending.
