The similarities with the American mini-series 'True Detective' are more than noticeable, but the tense and intriguing story, outstanding performances of Raúl Arévalo, Javier Gutiérrez, Nerea Barros and Jesús Castro, its breathtaking setting and beautiful cinematography make for 'La Isla Mínima (Marshland)' the best spanish film of 2014.
