Excellent storyline of a police investigation where the police is not all so outsmarting the bandits, quite the contrary. The whole town has a mean streak, but it wants the killer(s) done with. The mother helps the investigation tremendously from the start, then the local mob and others in exchange of favours.
In the end, the cops and others rally heroically to a not typical resolution. It beats all murder mysteries I've seen to date. Very well done. Gripping. Intriguing.
