What a cheesy unconvincing plot! Who are these people kidding? Murder your wife to avoid hurting her feelings? Give me a break!
The cat had all the best lines and succeeded in upstaging the actors with just "meeow's." When you heard it, you lost all interest in what the actors were mouthing and started looking around for the cat . . .
And of course, my very favorite anachronism: an actor wearing eyeglasses with anti-reflection coatings in 1949.
Brosnan looked bored as if waiting for a good action film to come along.
Overall, not very good at all.
