This movie is really quite a waste of time. We have a man that finds his true happiness with a woman that is not his wife. His best friend meets this woman and decides to have her for his own. She breaks the poor guy's heart and he decides that he can be happy with his wife after all.

Meanwhile he has plotted to poison his wife to get her out of the way. He also doesn't know that his own wife was cheating on him with another man. In the end absolutely nothing is different that it was in the beginning of the movie.
