Review of Married Life (2008) by Lauren P — 31 Mar 2008

I'm not sure I'd say I LIKED this movie, but it was engaging (in a slightly twisted way). Also, I found the attempt to create a vintage 1950's feel interesting. Some of the sets and costumes were good, but at times the acting felt forced.

Of course, with what we know of cigarettes and cancer, it's probably harder to do something like light up with complete nonchalance than it was in the 50â??s, but there were a few scenes where things like that felt a bit inauthentic.

Still, the movie was interesting.
