Marriage Story is a movie that will touch many people around the world. People who have been through difficult separation situations will be very moved by this story. It's an emotional movie, with excellent performances by Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver, (both are at their best work in their careers), they deserve an Oscar nomination.
Noah Baumbach's direction is quite simple, but at the same time manages to entertain the viewer with the story being told. The cinematography is interesting, the editing work is decent and the soundtrack is very well mounted to the progress of the film.
Laura Dern's performance can also be cited, a very good performance and full of emotion, she deserves an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress. Marriage Story has long scenes that further demonstrate the brilliance of the editing and script, which is very well written.
In addition, the movie has memorable performances and unforgettable moments, is a great movie.
