Review of Marriage Story (2019) by Fifi3 — 16 Jan 2020
The acting in this movie from both Driver and Johannson was superb and deserving of the Oscar nominations they got. It also is thought provoking look into the ugliness of a divorce. Still, I thought the ending was a bit cheesy and lacked nuance.
A random change of heart. The character development and relationship dynamic both seemed to fluctuate way too quickly for me, to the point where it was confusing that that would ever happen.
