Review of Marley & Me (2008) by Amanda C — 27 Nov 2011
Marley & Me manages to stay away from the sappy, overly sweet and sentimentality usually associated with the human/animal bonding film. It presents a very real portrait of life and family. The dog is hysterical and the performances of Wilson and Aniston are grounded and genuine.
Marley & Me is nothing earth shattering, but it's a solid and highly enjoyable two hours.
