Be prepared to make a beeline for the tissues after watching this film. You've been warned. Beyond being a tearjerker, "Marley & Me" is a pretty solid film. It's decently acted, solidly written and has a decent mix of humor and heart.

While it does play as entirely predictable (just one look at the film's poster tells you exactly what you're getting into here), the story itself is told in a solid, entertaining way. It won't win any awards, but "Marley & Me" is a solid, emotional film that pet owners (like myself) should find enjoyable.
