I love the tone and look of the film. Tackles a disturbing & controversial subject that is important and revealing without being pretentious. It feels organic and honest rathe than manipulative or overly sentimental.
This film tells its story plainly and effectively without added gimicks and melodrama which I really appreciate and admire. Moreno is the anchor of the film, her performance is fantastic. Very solid filmmaking - I wish there were more films this articulately constructed.
