The pacing of this film is seamless, brilliantly executed by writer-director Joshua Marston. It has an appealing visual sensibility and a consistent tone of immediacy, which heightens the desperation of the protagonist.
Catalina Sandino Moreno is superb playing the lead, chewing the scenery despite a solid supporting cast.
