Review of Maria Full of Grace (2004) by Jesse C — 26 Aug 2009
Not an easy story about one rebellious Columbian girl who becomes a mule (drug swallowing transport). Finding herself in NYC with no one but herself, and being pregnant Maria attempts to find a stable life.
Of course, the film is much more an attempt to display why someone would ever become a mule, the thoughts and feelings of such person, and the actress that plays Maria is probably the best part of this film.
