Review of Margot at the Wedding (2007) by Sean A — 30 Aug 2008
Baumbach(or rather the studio) took a chance on a major release for Margot, and it never really panned out for them which is a shame. I can see why a lot of people would be put off by it's portrayal of families and the lifestyle of Margot herself, but I think there is a lot we all can relate to at some point during the film.
There are a few times where it's not exactly clear what's going on, but they're not really essential to the plot so I didn't mind. Another fine installment from Noah Baumbach!
