After the great accomplishment in "The Squid and the Whale", director Noah Baumbach returns with another disfunctional family tale. However, where he succeded in "Squid" he fails here.
Nicole Kidman's character is just so unlikable, and all the others are too weird to root for. You end up wallowing in the misery of the characters.
