Review of Margot at the Wedding (2007) by Marianaspilots — 08 Oct 2017
Only after seeing this movie had I realized how polarizing it was upon release. Aside from Jack Black, this movie showcases some of the cast's best performances and this is one of the most brutally honest films I have ever seen.
The characters are all insufferable, yet they're all so compelling. I have come to a certain realization. Baumbach doesn't make films. He makes character studies and this is no exception.
