Review of Margot at the Wedding (2007) by Liz M — 11 Nov 2009
The trailer wooed me with it's catchy Phantom Planet track and Jack Black, but the film itself wasn't anything incredible. It's a movie about a family having constant problems and issues. If I wanted to see that, I could go to any number of homes in the area and watch people (wouldn't that be creepy.
..). I just didn't see much change in the characters, enough of a plot, and not even Jack Black could rescue the film...
