Review of Margot at the Wedding (2007) by Countess N — 03 May 2009
Margot(Nicole Kidman),a short story writer and her son Claude return to her childhood home to attend the wedding of her sister Pauline(Jennifer Jason Leigh) and Malcolm(Jack Black). Margot is a miserable sexually frustrated bitch who manages to talk down,put down and shout at every single character in the movie with exception of the dog Wizard.
Its a well acted movie with a superb cast but at the end it leaves you thinking what was the point and do I care.
