Shimizu's bloodless vampire movie offers a new perspective (How To Support a Blood-Sucking Flatmate on a Cameraman's Salary) on an overused theme but delivers little in the way of chills or thrills.
The endless hand-held camera shots suggest a meagre budget already stretched to the max rather than an attempt at verite and the FX are so poor its unwise to linger on them (especially with a camera).
For J-Horror completists only.
