Review of Marathon Man (1976) by Rob I — 06 Sep 2007
They don't make them like they used to! A terrific thriller, where the tension builds and builds. Laurence Olivier as you've never seen him before as a merciless nazi, but for me this is Hoffman's finest acting performance.
His sheer terror when the henchman come for him in the bath is acting genius, I'd say better than when he is in the dentist's chair.
