This film has been winning people choice awards all round the world for good reason. Forget the critics. This film will take you back to the wonderful America of old and open your eyes to the immense poverty that existed in China during Mao's reign, which makes Li Cunxin's story all the more incredible.
It is a fascinating account which will make you both laugh and cry. Just wonderful!
