Review of Mao’s Last Dancer (2009) by Ramona E — 29 Aug 2010
...an emotional, very powerful movie trying to account in only 117 min. of the story of Li Cunxin. A Chinese ballet dancer who back in 1979 was invited to Houston for a limited time only but, who later in 1981, went on making an amazing life choice when he decided to defy against all odds the then political backdrop of his homeland and decided to openly express his one and only wish.
..to stay.
