It's not as great a film as it could've been, but when it's "based on a true story" you have to be a bit forgiving. Chi Chao's performance is strong, but it still can't save the movie.
I've said it before but some stories are much better-suited to TV than film... And quite frankly, I'm not a fan of "final freeze frame" shots... not a fan at all.
