Lets get one thing right , Michael Moore is no angel . He makes political documentaries that make a statement . Some of his methods are not appreciated by everyone and the amount of Anti Michael Moore documentaries and web sites around proves that , but it's funny that no one yet has put up a convincing argument that what the big man is saying is wrong . This film in included.

Manufacturing Dissent, is a documentary that seeks to separate fact, fiction and legend, tracks Michael Moore on tour during the release of the explosive Fahrenheit 9/11, all the while chronicling the politically supercharged climate in America that has fuelled Moore's transition from filmmaker to icon of the political left.

To give the directors Rick Caine and Janeane Garofalo some credit they try to give both sides of the story of Michael Moore but that still does not hide the fact that they were trying to undermine him as a film maker and more importantly as someone who is an anti Bush democrat.

As a piece of entertainment , Manufacturing Dissent fails miserably and it's ironic that it takes a dull documentary like this to show just how good Michael Moore is at making highly watchable movies.

I know Michael Moore can be a little economical with the truth , In Sicko he makes the British national heath service look like Disneyland which I know is not the truth and in Bowling for Columbine he treated Charlton Heston very badly , which is the one thing I disliked that he did , but his underlying message is a good one .

Guns ARE bad thing , The Bush government IS corrupt , corporate business cares ONLY about the dollar NOT about the people and a country that claims to be christian kicks sick people out on the street if they don't have money to pay for their treatment is SICK and morally wrong .

All these things are quite clearly true and if Moore has to do things that are a little unscrupulous to get that message to the world then I say , good luck to you Michael!

One thing you can guarantee is that his opponents still do not have as a convincing argument againt him as he does in what he believes in .
