Review of Manufacturing Dissent (2007) by Dimetre A — 21 Jun 2008
I know that Michael Moore has a reputation for playing fast and loose with the facts, but the overwhelming majority of his documentaries are made up of the truth. Is he a conventional documentary filmmaker? No.
Many of the criticisms in this documentary come from old warhorse documentary filmmakers who don't think he should be in his movies and have heard "things from people they know who worked with the guy.
" Somebody in this movie actually criticizes Moore for being "mean" to Charlton Heston at the end of Bowling for Columbine. Give me a break.
