Review of Manufactured Landscapes (2006) by Chase B — 31 Mar 2007
First off! This Burtynsky is the most self important pretentious asshole this side of Yanni. The fucking guy makes the worst "analogies" that actually all turn out to be actualizations. Anyhow, beyond that asshole, the movie is watchable, but seems to really want to be a low-key Canadian Baraka.
What it's lacking is anytype of musical score and it's ridiculous need to put this Burtynsky asshole's shitty tropes over everything. Watch Baraka a thousand times and then shit on this film and you'll feel better about it's existance.
