Review of Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966) by Austin F — 30 Sep 2007
This may be the most horrible film ever to be shown at a drive-in. And also one of the funniest. "Manos" has the honor of making any film Ed Wood ever did look like a major studio "A" picture.
Jaw-droppingly bad from all standpoints: acting, script, camera angles, music, special effects, you name it. Thank goodness it is short. Hal Warren achieved true anti-greatness in just one shot and deserves all the "credit" he gets.
Essential viewing for cult and "bad" movie fans.
