Review of Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966) by Ryan K — 16 Feb 2008

I find myself rather conflicted as to what rating this movie truly deserves. Is it terrible? In terms of wether or not it achieves entertainment value in the respect that its creators had intended, yes it is absolutely awful. Is it enjoyable to watch? Entirely. While I can't in good conscious award this thing stars for being so bad it's funny, I'd rather spend my time watching trash like this than a lot of the modern day, mind bendingly uninspired tripe that passes as horror these days. They just don't make bad movies like they used to.

All told, it at least deserves one star for ever having been made, and another for the sake of ironic enjoyment.
