Manic is a solid film about teenagers with various issues. It's a very gritty film that deals with intense situations. If I were to have one complaint it would be certain instances of wooden acting, a miscast of Elden Henson, and it's lack of substance.
It although features an excellent Joseph Gordon-Levitt who carries the film with Zooey Deschanel.
Manic is a disturbing but satisfying film with good acting by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Zooey Deschanel, and Don Cheadle.
