Review of Maniac (2012) by Andy R — 24 Apr 2014
No other movie has taken me on a journey through the madness of nightmares than this film. Maniac offered a different point of view in which most people will be too terrified to see and that is looking through the eyes of a disturbed killer.
This does stand alone as a different and unusual approach to make you squirm, want to turn away, and cry out in pain. Intense, gut-wrenching, horrific, but effective and hypnotic. This is one movie I wouldn't mind watching again and again.
One of the few horror remakes that is well worth it.
