The scariest thing about this movie is the main characters purple shorts - yikes! All joking aside, this film is really engrossing. The characters, the relationship between the main character and the serial killer(s), the killings and the tension are all done really well.
Hannibal Lecter isn't effective in this film, but it's also not about him.
