Review of Manhunter (1986) by Adam W — 11 Sep 2009
Maybe not as iconic as "The Silence of THe Lambs" but this does have Michael Mann cool stamped all over it from the striking lighting to the awesomely atmospheric synth score. That this film was so good only made the remake even more pointless? THe restored footage was fine but added little to the movie truth be told - also "restored" in that they were put back in but a little restoration on the quality of these scenes wouldn't have gone a miss.
