Review of Manhattan Murder Mystery (1993) by Jackson C — 11 Apr 2012
Witty and funny dialogues as usual by Woody Allen. But the movie lacks the drive that fuels a story. Uses the central story to shed light on the colourful characters, although it works, but the story itself isn't strong enough to hold on its own.
The movie is perhaps enjoyable only because of the creative lines typically seen in Woody's movies. Woody Allen's acting is also memorable as he emits a sense of old-school extravagance in modern movies that doesn't seem out of place at all.
