Review of Manhattan (1979) by Brad J — 23 Jun 2009
I guess I was expecting something a bit better after being blown away by Annie Hall. But this film felt mundane, as though I was listening to a neverending monologue performed by Allen, which truthfully, can be enjoyable at times, but gets old fast.
Still, I loved Meryl Streep (in an underused role here) and the sweeping magnificent score.
