Review of Manhattan (1979) by Fernando Rafael Q — 26 Feb 2011
"Manhattan" is the story of a nervous man and his search for love, ending with him finding it, only before it is taken away. Allen's character confuses himself with what he feels and what he wants to feel.
His character is fully developed, and his writing is bubbling with creativity and humor. New York has almost never looked better, which is what one would expect from a movie named after the great city.
Not to mention, the black and white looks phenomenal.
