Review of Manhattan (1979) by Theodore H — 17 Dec 2013
Classic Woody Allen. He's always a delight to watch and listen to. The filming is so exquisitely masterful - the opening sequence, the realistic portrayal of unglamorous characters, the interesting and believable conflict/plot, and the choice of music, among other things - I was simply in awe of the technical and narrative strategies coordinating to make love to our eyes, ears, and hearts.
