Review of Manderlay (2005) by Emma J — 18 Sep 2007
A compelling story, told with no frills, honest and rawness. I loved the way it was filmed, no walls, in a studio, it beats having to watch split screen to follow more than one story. It is incredibly involved and thought provoking if only to keep up with the rights and wrongs.
This film has character development all over it, family, treachery, love, betrayal and an invaluable message to be learnt, or two. Loved it, not to long either.
