Review of Manchester by the Sea (2016) by Luca D — 27 Feb 2017
Manchester By The Sea is a good film and I liked it, but it is over-rated by critics. The movie is too long. It simple drags on, with my wanting it to end sooner than it does. The acting is solid and the characters are full, however in my opinion Casey Affleck doesn't win best actor for this film with his mono-tone character.
.. just not diverse enough for best actor. 7 out of 10 stars is more accurate than 3 for 5.
