Review of Manchester by the Sea (2016) by Jarrod M — 18 Feb 2017
The acting was very realistic, and so was the writing. There wasn't a single line that I "couldn't believe" or had to suspend disbelief for. I didn't enjoy it particularly, but it did get rather creatively emotional.
The manner in which memories reveal plot was used (arguably) was masterful. It didn't really feel like anything special though, to be honest.
